Real feedback for one of our apps.

In conjunction with Leo Ng & Paul Davey of Curtin University, School of Physiotherapy & Exercise Science we built an app to help examiners capture assessment information during OSPEs (Objective Structured Practical Exam). Using our application, which we call eMarking, on an iPad the Examiner could grab the necessary feedback, including images. This information is then pushed to a Desktop application for moderation. Moderated results are then emailed directly to the students.

In 2018 the University of South Australia, School of Health Sciences began a detailed trial of the application. Recently the co-ordinator of the trial, Dr. Caroline Fryer, put together a summary of the results of the trial and have allowed us to share her review.
